Activitie Details

Cala Fornells, the location of Hotel Coronado Thalasso & Spa Mallorca, lies among the island’s best hiking trails and just a few kilometres from the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the category of Cultural Landscapes.

This mountain range is full of trails with varying degrees of difficulty and lengths to delight hiking enthusiasts in Mallorca.

You don’t need to be an elite athlete to enjoy hiking in Mallorca.
Options such as the Ruta de Pedra en Sec, an ancient network of stone pathways recently restored by the island council, are perfect for all ages. From Cala Fornells, you can walk up to the Camp de Mar chapel, less than six kilometres away, or over to the nearby towns of Paguera and Port d’Andratx.

Also right by the hotel are the Cap Andritxol headland and the jaw-dropping Caló d’Es Monjo beach, both well worth a visit. If you’d like further information about the nearby hiking trails, please feel free to ask our receptionists to provide you with all the necessary details. You can also check out the Wikiloc. website.

And once you’re in Mallorca, make sure you pay a visit to the city of Palma, with its stunning old quarter, urban beaches and vibrant seafront promenade, all perfect for the avid walker.
